Catherine Borg is a visual artist working across multiple mediums utilizing video, audio, photography, drawing and sculpture in her work. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she currently lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She holds a BA in broadcasting from San Francisco State University and an MFA in visual arts from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She studied at the International Center for Photography and the School of Visual Arts in New York before her graduate studies.

In December 2008 SFMOMA screened two of her recent videos and her work has been presented in several solo and group exhibitions in Nevada, New Jersey and New York City. Awards include 2007 residency fellowships from the MacDowell Colony and the Jentel Foundation and an artist fellowship in 2005 from the Nevada Arts Council. Recent commissions include ornamental, completed in 2008 for the City of Las Vegas Arts Commission, Illuminating Exchange for Scottsdale Public Art and Glow Las Vegas, a public art installation of video projections and light exhibited on Las Vegas Boulevard in 2005, which was part of the City of 100 Murals project. On Location will be completed in 2009 for the Southern Nevada Regional Transportation Commission and the City of Las Vegas as part of their Stop & Glow public art project.
